    1 rack of ribs
110ml or ½ cup olive oil
    2 cloves garlic crushed
    1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

    Method:-

Season the ribs rack with the salt and pepper and slap them on the grill over medium hot coals. Mix up the crushed garlic, paprika and olive oil, brush it onto the ribs and continue to turn and baste occasionally through the cooking process.

10 or 15 minutes later you’ve got ribs to die for. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do.

You can use your own sauce or other store-bought sauce in this recipe… it’s more the method that’s important.

Sweet-Hot Baby Back Ribs & Sauce

    2 tablespoons ground ginger
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
3 slabs baby back pork ribs (about 5 1/2 lb.)
    2 limes, halved
    Sweet-Hot ‘Cue Sauce (recipe below)

    1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl.
    2. Rinse and pat ribs dry. If desired, remove thin membrane from back of ribs by slicing into it with a knife and then pulling it off. (This will make ribs more tender.)
    3. Rub ribs with cut sides of limes, squeezing as you rub. Massage ginger mixture into meat, covering all sides. Wrap ribs tightly with plastic wrap, and place in zip-top plastic freezer bags or a 13- x 9-inch baking dish; seal or cover, and chill 8 hours. Let ribs stand at room temperature 30 minutes before grilling. Remove plastic wrap.
    4. Light 1 side of grill, heating to medium-high heat (350° to 400°); leave other side unlit. Place rib slabs over unlit side, stacking 1 on top of the other.
    5. Grill, covered with grill lid, 40 minutes. Reposition rib slabs, moving bottom slab to the top, and grill 40 minutes. Reposition 1 more time, moving bottom slab to the top; grill 40 minutes.
    6. Lower grill temperature to medium heat (300° to 350°); unstack rib slabs, and place side by side over unlit side of grill. Cook ribs 30 more minutes, basting with half of Sweet-Hot ‘Cue Sauce. Remove ribs from grill, and let stand 10 minutes. Cut ribs, slicing between bones. Serve ribs with remaining Sweet-Hot ‘Cue Sauce. Makes 6 servings

    Sweet-Hot ‘Cue Sauce
2 (10-oz.) bottles sweet chili sauce
    2 cups ketchup
1/3 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper flakes
Combine sweet chili sauce and remaining ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes.

Note: For testing purposes only, we used Maggi Taste of Asia Sweet Chili Sauce. Makes 4 cups

My hubby makes awesome ribs and they are very simple.

Take your favorite bbq sauce and add some honey, cheyanne, and garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Always taste before you put on ribs.

Then soak your ribs in the sauce for 24 hours or so.

We bake them in the oven at about 200 for 5 hours or so. In the sauce mind you. Flip them after a few hours. Then you have fall off the bone delicious ribs.

You could also remove them from the oven after 3 or 4 hours and put them on the grill for 20 min or so. They don’t fall of the bone as much but they become crispier on the outside not soft.

Quick and easy “grilled, not smoked” baby back ribs
    Adam Perry Lang

    Serves 6

    INGREDIENTS

    Spice rub
    • 1/2 cup chili powder
    • 1/2 cup sweet paprika
    • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
    • 1 tsp cayenne powder
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 4 racks baby back ribs (approx 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. each)
    • 1 cup honey
    • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
    • 1/2 cup apple juice

    Finishing sauce
    • 1 cup favorite BBQ sauce
    • 1/2 cup honey

    DIRECTIONS

First, combine ingredients of spice rub.

Moisten ribs lightly with water and coat entirely with rub. Allow to sit in refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour or a maximum of 3 hours.

Preheat grill to medium. Grill ribs for 10 minutes on each side and remove.

Place each rib in a double sheet of aluminum foil and evenly distribute honey, butter and apple juice to each. Seal tightly.

Heat grill on one side so that when covered, grill temp remains at 300-325 degrees (alternatively, if you do not have temperature control on your grill, with no shame, utilize a preheated oven, but place all on a cookie sheet tray).

Cook ribs for 2 hours, remove and allow to rest in foil for ½ hour.

Remove from foil and direct grill over low setting for 15 minutes on each side, constantly basting with finishing sauce.
