    Chimichurri is never made in a food processor. Cilantro would make it a Mexican sauce. Needs basil. One more thing I am of Argentinian origin.

    Cilatro?? perejil?? pa mi que va hacer una salsa provenzal, aceite de oliva???, recomiendo neutro..
    This there is called a sauce provenzal that takes parsley coriander and garlic is a variant of the chimichurri.

    The uniqueness and purpose of chimichurri is for it to be a thick marinade. It is traditionally used on Asado or in the most extreme case on Empanadas.
